[Madison, WI]— The Republican Party Wisconsin launched its first digital ad campaign of the 2018 cycle today, aimed at holding Senator Tammy Baldwin accountable for her role in the scandal at the Tomah VA.  Senator Baldwin was the only member of Congress to receive the official federal government Inspector General’s report on veterans being in danger at Tomah — and actively engaged in a cover-up when the truth came out.
“When Senator Baldwin had a chance to protect Wisconsin’s veterans, she decided to protect the Washington status quo instead,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin.  “Senator Baldwin can try to avoid accountability all she wants, but the evidence of her cover-up continues to mount and Wisconsinites have made clear they’re fed up with liberal Washington insiders who have been part of the problem for decades.”
The campaign includes digital ads that will run on Facebook, Twitter, and other online platforms encouraging Wisconsinites to sign up to hold Senator Baldwin accountable.  For more information on Senator Baldwin’s role in the scandal and a timeline of her cover-up, click here.
