MADISON — Steve Bannon, once the pride of out-of-state billionaire puppet Kevin Nicholson’s Twitter feed, is today being taken to task for massively failing in his role as alleged sexual predator Roy Moore’s “master strategist.”

Here’s Kevin Nicholson fawning over Bannon back in October:

“‘The Steve Bannon primary in Wisconsin is over and Kevin Nicholson has won.’ Humbled by this huge endorsement. (1/2)”

“Excited to receive an endorsement from the Great America PAC and Steve Bannon.”
And here are news outlets, today, on Nicholson’s out-of-state boss Bannon’s future as a Republican “kingmaker”:

Seems bad. But is there any reason reason to extend sympathy to Kevin Nicholson, who months ago tied his entire political future to a man famous for running a white nationalist website (not to mention a racist birther’s presidential campaign) and who had at the time already been actively campaigning for Roy Moore, a wildly bigoted, twice-suspended judge?

“Kevin Nicholson knew his out-of-state boss Steve Bannon, famous for his white nationalist associations, was politically toxic from the start: Nicholson signed up for this, and it’s telling that he continues to embrace Bannon and everything he stands for.” –Brad Bainum, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson for the 2018 Senate race

In conjunction with Steve Bannon’s big loss in Alabama, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin today launched Google search ads targeting Wisconsin voters searching terms related to Kevin Nicholson, Leah Vukmir, Steve Bannon, and Roy Moore.
