Wisconsin ranks 33rd for private sector job growth

Wisconsin’s private sector job growth last year was below the national average, putting it at 33rd in the country, according to the latest quarterly data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics
The state added 11,548 jobs in 2016, a 0.5 percent increase from the year before. The national average was 1.3 percent.
