The Wisconsin Game Preserve Association (WGPA) will release and discuss the results of a Wisconsin Economic Impact Survey of members.  The study reflects both the challenges and opportunities for Wisconsin gamebird producers and hunting preserve operators.

President of the WGPA, Mr. Tim Zindl and key leadership members of the Association will be present and available for questions and the discussion.  Rep. Joel Kleefisch, Chair of the Assembly Committee on Natural Resources and Sporting Heritage will help facilitate the presentations and offer a legislative perspective. Questions and discussions are welcomed.

Additionally, Mr. William MacFarlane, President of MacFarlane Pheasants, Inc. of Janesville, Wisconsin will review current industry thoughts on plans to combat and or eradicate Avian Influenza.

Wisconsin is home to the largest pheasant farm in North America: MacFarlane Pheasants, Inc. of Janesville.  The WGPA has grown to over 200 additional pheasant farming interests, along with sport shooting facilities, dining and lodging facilities, and breeding operations that are recognized worldwide.
