Walker touts 3.4 percent unemployment rate as ‘latest sign of strength’ for economy

Gov. Scott Walker is touting the state dropping its unemployment rate to 3.4 percent, the lowest it's been since April 2000, as "the latest sign of strength for Wisconsin's economy."
The figure for last month is down 0.3 percentage points from February and remains lower than the national unemployment rate, which was 4.5 percent last month, according to federal data released by DWD.
