Walker calls for boost in state aid for rural schools

Gov. Scott Walker today proposed a boost in funding for rural schools through sparsity aid, higher reimbursements for their transportation costs and an investment in broadband.
Walker is speaking at three school districts today to outline his plan and said the funding comes on top of the "significant investment" in public schools he'll propose in the next biennial budget.
