Brookfield, Wis. — State Sen. Leah Vukmir, R–Brookfield, released the following statement Monday in support of Gov. Scott Walker’s and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch’s re-election bid after attending their campaign kickoff Sunday afternoon in Waukesha:
“I give my full support to Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch as they run to continue our record of bold conservative leadership for a third term.
“Under their leadership, Wisconsin has turned around. We have seen a record number of Wisconsinites employed, businesses are flocking to our state, the tax burden continues to be reduced, and parents have the freedom to choose a school that best educates their child.
“Despite all we have accomplished together for Wisconsinites, Scott and Rebecca refuse to accept we have done enough. Their drive is inspiring, and they will continue doing all they can to move our state forward.
“Wisconsin wins with Walker and Kleefisch. They have earned our trust, and I am excited to see what they will be able to accomplish with four more years.”
