| WASHINGTON—Tomorrow, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) will address the National Endowment for Democracy’s (NED) 2017 Democracy Award ceremony, an event honoring five activists fighting corruption in Afghanistan, Angola, Guatemala, Malaysia, and Ukraine. In his remarks, Speaker Ryan will address NED’s work to strengthen democratic growth and reaffirm Congress’s bipartisan commitment to democracy and human rights.
