Senator Steve Nass (R-Whitewater) issued the following statement regarding his vote in support of Senate passage of August 2017 Special Session Assembly Bill 1, relating to Foxconn:
“Today, I voted to create economic opportunities for the people of Wisconsin to bring a new high-tech industry to our state and nation. Foxconn doesn’t receive any of the $3 billion in state support unless they meet their commitments of investing up to $10 billion in their facilities and employing as many as 13,000 employees. This will be a major economic win for the citizens I represent in Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Jefferson, Waukesha and Rock Counties.”
