[Madison, WI]— Senator Tammy Baldwin failed veterans at the Tomah VA and Republicans nationwide are holding her accountable for it. Following the launch of a billboard by the Republican Party of Wisconsin during the opening weekend at State Fair, the National Republican Senatorial Committee launched a radio ad this week–continuing to highlight Senator Baldwin’s failures at the Tomah VA.
Check out what they’re saying about Republicans holding Senator Baldwin accountable:
From WisPolitics AM Update: The National Republican Senatorial Committee is knocking U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, in a new radio ad that says the Madison Dem knew what was happening at the Tomah VA and “swept the problem under the rug.”

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Republicans accuse Baldwin of failing to act in 2015 on problems at the facility. Baldwin disciplined top aides for bungling whistle blower complaints about the facility, including sitting on an inspector general’s report.

From Politico Morning Score: “The Inspector General report uncovered the scandal — Tammy Baldwin buried the report,” the ad’s narrator says. “Whistleblowers tried to tell Tammy the truth. But Tammy Baldwin’s office told them not to talk to the press. Tammy Baldwin looked out for her own political health — instead of the health of our veterans.”

From Right Wisconsin: Senator Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, may be trying to erase her past before next year’s election, but the Republican Party of Wisconsin is reminding voters which senator let down Wisconsin’s veterans.
