Republican Party of Wisconsin: Senator Baldwin’s hypocritical farm tour

[Madison, WI]— Senator Tammy Baldwin’s rampant hypocrisy was on display last week as she toured the state giving lip service to farmers after years of support for crippling regulations on Wisconsin agriculture.

“Senator Baldwin would rather protect the Washington status quo than Wisconsin farmers and jobs. Now that her re-election hopes are in peril, she’s talking a big game on Wisconsin agriculture after supporting years of job-killing Washington mandates imposed on farmers and small businesses.”

In the past, Senator Baldwin sided with Democrats in opposing Republican attempts to repeal President Obama’s Waters of the United States rule.  Recently, President Trump signed executive orders that began the process of rolling back the rule.
