Madison, WI –Rep. Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) released the following statement after Governor Scott Walker held a press conference regarding the I-39/90 project’s funding and timeline:
“As a strong advocate for the I-39/90 expansion project, I’m pleased that Governor Walker and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) recognize the timely completion of the I-39/90 corridor from the Stateline to Madison is a top priority. I am hopeful that the Governor and the Legislature can agree on an adequate, sustainable, and equitable transportation funding strategy in order to ensure that we are meeting all of our long-term infrastructure obligations. I remain committed to working with stakeholders on a funding solution.”
