Delavan, WI – Republican Paul Nehlen continues mulling a 2018 challenge to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R – WI), citing Ryan’s legislative failures, and Ryan’s continued undermining of President Trump.

“How is it possible Speaker Ryan serves up a 1,665 page Omnibus, a document longer than Obama’s stimulus, with less than a week to review it and vote?” Nehlen opened. “It’s possible because this was a planned attack on the administration.”

As a strong supporter of President Trump, Nehlen warned several times Ryan’s screw ups weren’t accidental. “This past week on Andrew Wilkow’s radio show, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) recounted the GOP caucus’s expectation of putting a repeal bill on President Trump’s desk Day One” recounts Nehlen. “Jordan was shocked, as I think were many American’s by what Ryan’s leadership team delivered with the pitiful RyanCare 1.0 legislation.”

Then along comes the budgeting process. The President, duly elected in a landslide electoral win, provides guidance. “Ryan won one district in one state. However, Ryan undermines the President once again with a mind-numbing 1,665 page Omnibus that funds Planned Parenthood, refugee resettlement, Obamacare, EPA, and Sanctuary Cities,” asserts Nehlen. “Specifically, which of those is a conservative cause?”

“We elected Trump President, not Ryan. If we’d wanted Ryan’s agenda we’d of drafted him to run for President. That clearly wasn’t on the American voters mind, as Ryan’s favorability has never been higher than before my challenge to the seat owned by the voters of Wisconsin’s 1st district. We defeated TPP. We tore Ryan’s globalist mask off for all to see the true face of what working in D.C. can do to a good man,” closed Nehlen.

“Ryan has been in D.C. too long, evidenced by his priorities, by his actions,” Nehlen closed. “Fighting for American workers, American security, and an America First agenda, that’s in Paul Ryan’s job description, not usurping President Trump’s mandate.”

Paul Nehlen is not another lifelong politician, but a business executive and inventor. Nehlen started out on the factory floor, and through God’s grace, grit, and determination rose to lead Fortune 500 manufacturing businesses around the world. Nehlen challenged Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s 2016 First Congressional District to stop Trans-Pacific Partnership and secure America’s border. Today he is waging the battle against the refugee resettlement racket and leading the cause to fight for America’s values. He lives in Delavan, Wisconsin.
