Milwaukee, Wisconsin – MCTS makes the ride to German Fest easy, affordable and convenient! Choose from the MCTS Freeway Flyer, Downtown Shuttle or Local Routes to travel to and from German Fest, taking place at Henry Maier Festival Park, July 28-30!
German Fest bus service runs from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am on Friday, July 28; 11:30 am to 12:30 am on Saturday, July 29; and 9:00 am to 9:30 pm on Sunday, July 30, which includes early morning service to Mass stopping at the South Gate.
FREEWAY FLYER SERVICE
Freeway Flyer service runs approximately every 30 minutes, beginning a half-hour before German Fest opens each day and for a half hour after it closes each night. For Sunday Mass, there will be early morning service will drop off at the South Gate. Flyer service may vary on the weekend.
Festival-goers can catch a Freeway Flyer from the following park-ride lots:
• Brown Deer East – Brown Deer Road, west of I-43
• College – College Avenue, at I-94, north and south lots
• State Fair Park – I-94, S. 76th and W. Kearney Street

• MCTS M•CARD 1-, 7- or 31-Day Pass OR Valid Transfer – Tap card. Will be charged an additional $2.
Round-trip: Children (ages 6 – 11), seniors (65 and over) and persons with disabilities with proper ID. Children under 6 ride free when accompanied by an adult.

• MCTS M•CARD 1-, 7- or 31-Day Pass OR Valid Transfer – Tap card. Will be charged an additional 80 cents.
DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE SERVICE
The German Fest Shuttle takes you directly to the Mid Gate of the festival grounds. The Shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes and makes stops along both sides of Wisconsin Avenue (see map), between N. 6th Street and N. Jackson Street, at all bus stops marked with the Summerfest smile logo.

Pay full amount of fare when boarding the Downtown Shuttle or Freeway Flyer to German Fest. Exact fare required. On the Shuttle and Freeway Flyer, U-PASS (summer semester only), GO Pass, New Freedom Pass and Commuter Value Pass are accepted as full fare on all buses.
