Green Bay — “As a prosecutor, a father, and a husband, I am appalled by the recent news reports on Congress’ $17 million taxpayer secret slush fund used to hide sexual assault committed by powerful men. This is not a Republican issue or a Democrat issue, this is a cultural issue. It is a sign of the dysfunction in Congress that we cannot find bipartisan solutions to health care and middle-class tax reform, yet both parties find agreement in using our tax dollars to cover up sexual harassment cases. We should not tolerate this. We need leaders who will represent the values of our community – not the culture of corruption.”
