Conscious Evolution: Awakening Through Our Senses

Coordinated by Promega Corporation and the BTC Institute, the International Consciousness Forum offers a lively two days of information-sharing and discussion regarding important – and often challenging – topics. For the past seven years, the Forum has focused on exploring dimensions of consciousness.
This has involved looking into various realms, pushing the envelope at times, while remaining centered on engaging our audience and our speakers. We have been guided through consciousness topics, including creativity, near death, entheogens, intelligence in nature, and business evolution.
As we continue to examine the facets of consciousness, in 2017 we will explore our interpretation of the world through our senses. How might altering our awareness of sensorial inputs create a change in our awareness of all aspects of reality and expand consciousness in positive directions for ourselves and others?
Consciousness is the very ground of our being—and yet it cannot be weighed and measured in the conventional sense. It is also the means by which the universe awakens to its own majesty. Through consciousness, the web of life can know and understand itself, and can even begin to guide its own future form.
Many argue that our consciousness needs to ‘shift up a notch’ and become more attuned to its source if humanity is to form a long-term, sustainable relationship with the biosphere. Hence, the need to address the existence of consciousness, its focus, its mutability, and its potential for transcendence.
This year, our mix of presenters will both discuss and guide experiences using the five (or more) senses to provide insight on how this might impact our understanding of self, community and our place on this planet.
