Jefferson County DA Susan Happ, who ran unsuccessfully for AG in 2014, said she’s still considering another bid for that office, as well as guv and lt. guv.
Happ has been weighing her options for 2018 and said she hasn’t ruled out anything in terms of another statewide bid. She has no timeline for making a decision, but hoped to make one soon.
She noted the more than 1,000 people who the party says showed up for this weekend’s convention and their energy as reason to be optimistic about next year.
“I think 2018 could be a really good year for Democrats,” Happ said. “The pendulum is going to swing. It’s a question of how far.”
