Madison, Wis. (February 7, 2017) – The School of Business at Edgewood College is pleased to present “Addressing Societal Problems in Greater Madison: Unemployment and Economic Challenges Facing the African-American Community.”

This engaging panel discussion takes place from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pmWednesday February 15, 2017, in Anderson Auditorium. The event is free, and a reception follows immediately after the panel.

Local business, government, and community leaders will share their insights on the unemployment and economic challenges facing African Americans in the city of Madison and what actions are needed to best address these challenges. Panelists include Dr. Ruben Anthony, President & CEO, Urban League of Greater Madison; Dr. Laura Dresser, Associate Director, UW-Madison’s Center on Wisconsin Strategy; Ms. Sabrina Madison, Founder, Heymiss Progress, LLC; Mr. Enis Ragland, Deputy Mayor of Administration and Finance, City of Madison; and Mr. Henry Sanders, Jr., Founder & Publisher, Madison365.
