Gov. Walker: Calls special election for 66th Assembly District

MADISON – Governor Scott Walker today issued Executive Order #264, which calls a special election for the 66th Assembly District following the resignation of the Honorable Cory Mason. Governor Walker ordered the special election to be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. If a primary is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Circulation of nomination papers for candidates may begin today, November 7. Nomination papers must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
